Job summary

Veolia Bellevue, WA-based EHS Specialist role involves implementing Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and OSHA programs across Leonia, Cary, and Bellevue facilities under the EHS Senior Manager. You’ll work to provide a healthy, accident-free environment by recognizing, evaluating, and controlling environmental and workplace hazards.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in an EHS role.
• Less than 25% travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities that drive compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate EHS laws and guidelines.
• Analyze data and audit processes for Ergonomics and emergency preparedness.
• Support and improve EHS programs to reduce hazards and risks at plant sites.
• Assist in leading EHS projects and completing required reports.
• Lead or support investigations of workplace incidents and perform root cause analyses.
