Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to drive EHS strategy across the division. You will mentor site safety staff, coordinate risk assessments, and lead training and process improvements with the corporate EHS team.

Travel 50–70% and on-call responses are required. A BS in Safety or Environmental Engineering and 7–10 years in EHS, including 5 years in water/wastewater, are expected, with OSHA 10 and CSP/CIH goals.

Qualifications

• BS in Safety or Environmental Engineering; 7–10 years in EHS and Security compliance.
• 5 years in water/wastewater, laboratory or utility sectors; coaching safety engagement.
• OSHA 10hr certification; CSP/CIH is desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide EHS leadership training, workshops and resources.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk reduction plans.
• Mentor Site Safety Coordinators and Project Management staff.
• Lead Division training programs and corporate training initiatives.
• Support safety culture assessments and safety behavior programs.
• Assist in audits, budgets and reporting for EHS activities.
