Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years proven Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience or Safety experience in construction or manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience at a multi-site organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with OSHA standards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through site inspection, safety compliance, and incident investigations to promote an injury-free operation.
• Communicate MEI EHS policies, guidelines, and regulatory changes.
• Develop and deliver safety training and required certifications.
• Manage site incident prevention programs, permits, JHA's, and safety records.
• Coordinate with Region EH&S Manager and operations teams on safety initiatives.
