Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating in Texas seeks a Safety Manager to independently oversee EHS programs and promote incident-free field operations across MEI sites. You will support training, audits, and regulatory compliance, driving MEI’s safety culture.

The role emphasizes OSHA standards, risk assessment, JHA development, incident investigation, and collaboration with site management and IRB to improve safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Environmental Health & Safety experience or Safety experience in construction or Manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience at a multi-site organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with OSHA standards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Proactively execute and maintain MEI EHS policies, guidelines, procedures and programs.
• Support MEI sites with all MEI, customer, and OSHA required training.
• Provide program technical and administrative support in areas such as design-in-safety, risk assessment, job safety analysis, investigation and resolution, development and programming of EHS systems.
