Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Site Manager in Abilene, TX to lead site safety programs and ensure incident-free operations.

The role reports to the Region EH&S Manager and supports field operations with inspections, trainings, and regulatory compliance across MEI sites. You will develop safe work procedures, conduct audits, and mentor teams to strengthen the safety culture.

Qualifications

• Be qualified to recognize safety hazards.
• Hold current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• Possess a current OSHA 30-hour Construction Card.
• Have a degree in safety or 3+ years of construction safety management experience.
• Hold one of the following: ASP, CHST, or CSP.
• Minimum 5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with OSHA standards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through site inspection and safety compliance.
• Investigate incidents involving employees, materials, or equipment.
• Promote a safety culture and incident-free field operations across MEI sites.
• Communicate MEI EHS policies and regulatory changes.
• Provide training and maintain safety documentation and records.
• Manage SIPPS, hot work permits, confined space, SDS, and related regulations.
• Develop safe work instructions and job hazard analyses.
• Conduct daily pre-task plan audits and site inspections.
