Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Environmental Health & Safety experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Experience applying OSHA standards and regulatory changes across multiple sites.
• Ability to lead audits, incident investigations and safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Proactively executes and maintains MEI EHS policies, guidelines, procedures and programs.
• Supports training for Site Specific, Protocol, OSHA and forklift requirements.
• Develops risk assessments, JHA’s and safety work instructions.
• Manages incident investigations with IRB and site management; coordinates with OCC Health and insurance carriers.
• Oversees SIPPS, hot-work permits, confined space and SDS management.
• Conducts routine site audits and prepares safety reports and OSHA logs.
• Provides safety training and certifications for employees and new hires.
