Job summary

Shirley Parsons, acting as the EHSS leader for a major advanced manufacturing facility in the Buffalo, NY area, seeks a seasoned professional to steer site-wide EHSS strategy and ensure regulatory compliance. You will champion a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement across a complex operation.

Lead incident investigations, audits, training programs, and management systems while overseeing budgets and engagement across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7–10 years EHSS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and EHSS programs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional safety initiatives.
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Professional CSP or CIH preferred; strong leadership and PM skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic EHSS leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with plant leadership to execute EHSS initiatives and risk reduction.
• Lead incident investigations, audits, training, and emergency preparedness.
• Develop EHSS budgets, metrics, and management systems.
• Supervise EHSS staff and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, HR.
