Job summary

Shirley Parsons seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead a large-scale heavy manufacturing site on-site in Reading, PA. You will drive a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and align site operations with corporate EHS standards.

The role oversees air, water, and waste programs, conducts audits, leads incident investigations, and develops EHS staff. You will partner with site leadership to achieve safety and environmental goals and to foster a proactive,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or related field required.
10+ years of progressive EHS experience within heavy manufacturing.
Demonstrated success leading safety culture transformation and regulatory compliance programs.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations (air, water, hazardous materials).

Responsibilities

Lead and advance site-wide EHS strategy, culture, and compliance within a large manufacturing operation.
Serve as the technical EHS expert, supporting operations, projects, and regulatory initiatives.
Oversee environmental programs including air, water, waste, and required reporting to ensure full compliance.
Drive incident prevention through audits, root cause investigations, training, and corrective actions.
Manage and develop EHS staff while partnering with leadership to achieve safety and environmental goals.
