Nanshan America AAT LLC is seeking a Health and Safety Leader in Lafayette, IN to oversee inspections, audits, and EHS program implementation across the site. You will drive engagement, supervise safety practices, and ensure regulatory compliance to protect employees and the facility.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment with 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing EH&S, and strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal training in occupational health, safety and environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading EH&S programs and regulatory policy in manufacturing.
• Broad understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and risk mitigation.

Responsabilités

• Drives EHS programs to engage employees site-wide and trains on environmental/safety topics.
• Maintains and updates EHS manuals and procedures.
• Facilitates exchange of safety information among plant management.
• Keeps current knowledge of environmental rules and their facility impact.
• Maintains Safety Management System and all components.
• Acts as liaison with inspectors and regulators to minimize citations and fines.
• Coordinates with Environmental Services vendors for permits and reporting.
• Ensures OSHA compliance is current.
