Job summary

US Tech Solutions seeks an EHS Technician to own compliance and safety programs across manufacturing sites. You will manage waste, PPE, and regulatory adherence while ensuring a strong safety culture and environmental stewardship.

The role requires OSHA knowledge, training development, and incident investigations, with hands-on ability to implement controls and maintain documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations including OSHA standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of environmental regulations including EPA hazardous waste requirements, air quality standards, and water discharge permits.
• Experience conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and recommending controls.
• Experience delivering safety training and engaging employees to improve safety behavior.
• Proficiency in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety lead for the facility, conduct inspections, risk analyses, and hazard control.
• Implement and maintain security systems including access control and visitor management.
• Collaborate with EHS consultants as needed.
• Manage environmental compliance for steel manufacturing operations.
• Administer hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, and disposal per EPA/state rules.
• Oversee PPE management including procurement, training, and inventory control.
• Coordinate health programs such as hearing conservation and exposure monitoring.
• Develop and deliver EHS training including OSHA compliance and emergency procedures.
• Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Maintain EHS documentation and regulatory records.
• Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance across operations.
