Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual is a plus.
• 0-2 years related work experience or appropriate combination of academic and work experience.
• CPR certification preferred; OSHA 30 HR training preferred if available.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; prioritize independent judgment and reliability.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; must be able to work full-time and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Print and distribute daily production safety documentation.
• Coordinate with safety groups and safety ambassadors to update documentation.
• Plan, implement and oversee the company's safety at work to ensure compliance.
• Train employees on safety rules and monitor working conditions.
• Resolve safety issues and coordinate with plant teams on changes.
• Coordinate weekly safety huddles with EHS personnel.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and propose corrective actions.
• Organize OSH training plans and ensure timely updates.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on OSH matters as required.
• Assist in advising on provisions to minimize safety risks.
