Job summary

IS International Services is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to manage compliance across OSHA/EPA regulations and lead training programs for employees, supervisors, and contractors.

You will drive safety initiatives, perform hazard assessments, and support environmental programs including waste management and reporting. Strong communication and data-analysis skills are required; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 3+ years of EHS experience; substitution allowed.
• OSHA/EPA knowledge; BCSP or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; report writing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable EHS regulations and policies.
• Develop, deliver, and track EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
• Lead safety initiatives: safety walks, audits, and employee engagement.
• Support environmental compliance programs including waste management and reporting.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS records, metrics, and communicate trends to leadership.
• Travel up to 10% and assist cross-functional teams as needed.
