Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to be fully onsite in Lancaster, OH. The role supports Crew Foremen and General Foremen in developing Job Hazard Analyses to ensure OSHA compliance and deliver world‑class safety and client satisfaction.

Key duties include safety training delivery, incident reporting, inspections of equipment and facilities, emergency planning, record keeping, and contributing to continuous safety improvement while staying current with local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a safety role involving construction/data centers or adjacent industries.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 to be obtained before starting.
• Training in confined space, first aid/CPR (certified), and MEWP experience with training.

Responsibilities

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Training & Awareness: Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of workplace, equipment, and facilities.
• Emergency Response: Help develop emergency plans and assist during drills.
• Record Keeping: Maintain safety records and generate reports.
• Safety Committees: Participate in meetings and recommend improvements.
• Safety Communication: Create safety bulletins, posters, and newsletters.
• PPE Monitoring: Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to safety initiatives and process enhancements.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bilingual for Spanish is preferred but not required.
