Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an EHS professional to develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies across warehousing and manufacturing sites. You will conduct routine inspections, investigate incidents, and coordinate regulatory responses to ensure adherence to OSHA standards and DOT hazmat rules.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of EHS experience, Cal/OSHA familiarity, and certifications such as ASP or OSHA 30 with strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years EHS experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA regulations and compliance programs is preferred.
• Experience with SDS programs, OSHA compliance activities, and hazardous materials regulations.
• DOT hazardous materials shipping knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections of manufacturing and distribution warehouse operations to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analyses; recommend corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies on incident investigations, inquiries, findings and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and related programs, including HazCom, PPE, EAP, Fire Prevention, and Lockout/Tagout.
• Maintain OSHA injury and illness records (OSHA 300 logs) and SDS management access for employees.
