Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. seeks an Environmental Health & Safety professional to develop and implement EHS policies, perform routine inspections, and support incident investigations across warehousing and manufacturing operations.

The role ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT hazmat rules, and SDS management while coordinating with regulatory agencies and internal teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS within warehousing, manufacturing, or medical device/pharma environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and DOT hazmat regulations.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA is not required but helpful in related roles.
• Experience with SDS programs and regulatory compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections of manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions; verify effectiveness.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and findings.
• Ensure OSHA and DOT compliance and proper hazmat shipping documentation.
• Maintain OSHA records and SDS management program.
• Research applicable laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
