Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an EHS professional to develop and implement environmental, health, and safety programs across warehousing and manufacturing. You will lead inspections, investigations, and regulatory coordination to maintain compliance and safety, including OSHA HazCom, PPE, EAP, and DOT hazardous materials handling.

The role requires 2–5 years in EHS with Cal/OSHA and SDS experience, plus strong training, documentation, and project management skills suitable for a medical device/pharma

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of EHS experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, medical device, or related industries.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA regulations and compliance programs.
• Experience with SDS programs and hazardous materials regulations.
• DOT hazardous materials shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections of manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analyses; verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies on investigations and inquiries.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, HazCom, PPE, EAP, fire prevention, forklift safety, LOTO, bloodborne pathogens.
• Maintain OSHA injury/illness records and OSHA 300 logs.
• Support SDS management and employee access to SDS information.
• Support DOT regulations governing hazardous materials shipping and related docs.
• Research applicable laws (OSHA, DOT, IATA, IMO, EPA) and develop compliant policies.
• Provide training on EHS awareness and regulatory requirements.
• Travel 15–20% annually.
