Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to develop and maintain EHS programs across warehousing and manufacturing operations in the United States. The role involves routine inspections, incident investigations, and ensuring OSHA and hazmat compliance.

You will coordinate regulatory responses, maintain records, and support SDS management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives across sites. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Preferred certifications: ASP, OSHA 30-Hour General Industry, and/or DOT Hazmat Training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections of warehousing and manufacturing operations for hazards and compliance.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries on incident investigations and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Hazardous Materials regulations (DOT/IATA/IMO) where applicable.
• Maintain OSHA injury/illness records and SDS access in the management program.
• Support DOT hazardous materials shipping compliance and proper documentation.
