Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking an EHS professional to develop, implement, and maintain policies, and conduct routine onsite inspections of warehousing and manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The role supports incident investigations, DOT and OSHA regulatory compliance, employee training, and coordination with regulatory agencies, aiming to safeguard workers and the environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of EHS experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA regulations and compliance programs.
• Experience with SDS programs, OSHA compliance activities, and hazardous materials regulations.
• DOT hazardous materials shipping requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies on investigations and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and HazCom/PPE/EMERGENCY actions.
• Maintain OSHA injury and illness records (OSHA 300 logs).
• Support SDS management and employee access to SDS information.
• Support hazardous materials shipping compliance with DOT/IATA/IMO regulations.
• Provide EHS guidance and deliver awareness training across sites.
