Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an EHS Manager in Projects to drive the Zero Harm framework across HVDC and FACTS projects in the U.S. The role collaborates with PM, Engineering, and Installation teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safe project execution.

Travel (~25%) to project sites is required. The candidate will lead incident investigations, develop lessons learned, and report EHS KPIs while supporting a strong safety culture across multiple international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in EHS for projects.
• Certified safety/environmental professional credentials.
• Hands-on incident investigation, RCA, and risk management experience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and drive the EHS framework and project-specific management system meeting internal, customer, regulatory, and business requirements.
• Support project and site management in planning, implementing, and monitoring EHS procedures and rules.
• Partner with Engineering and PM to drive safe-by-design and safe-by-planning decisions.
• Lead or support investigations of incidents and near-misses with proper documentation and follow-up.
• Report EHS KPIs and drive continuous improvement across projects and sites.
• Work primarily from the office with periodic site visits (>25%) for safety walks and audits.
