Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an EHS Manager in Projects to drive the Zero Harm Framework and ensure compliance across project phases. You’ll collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and Installation & Commissioning to deliver timely responses to tender inquiries and support incidents investigations.

The role focuses on safety leadership, risk management, and continuous improvement, with travel to project sites and a strong emphasis on cross‑functional teamwork within the Grid Technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Relevant certifications in safety and environmental protection.
• Expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and risk management, with hands‑on experience in large‑scale, international, or cross‑functional projects and teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishing the EHS framework and project-specific management system that meets internal, customer, regulatory, and business requirements.
• Supporting project and site management in planning, implementing, and monitoring EHS procedures and rules.
• Partnering with Engineering and Project Management to drive safe‑by‑design and safe‑by‑planning decisions.
• Leading or supporting investigations of incidents and near misses, ensuring proper documentation and follow‑up.
• Reporting key EHS KPIs and driving continuous improvement across projects and sites.
• Working primarily from the office while conducting periodic site visits for safety walks, inspections, and audits.
