Job summary

Responsable Safety Staffing, LLC is seeking a Manager of HSE Manufacturing & Installation to oversee environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures across the organization. The role includes developing training programs, directing hazardous material handling, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The position requires leadership of a 3-5 person team, frequent travel (50%), and collaboration with site leaders to drive safety performance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-5 HSE&R professionals and ensure competency and quality of regional resources.
• Travel across the United States — 50% of the time.
• Provide guidance on HSE&R matters and promote a safety culture in the organization.
• Advise management on HSE and Radiation compliance; ensure proper systems are in place.
• Track regional KPIs and drive continuous improvements toward targets.
• Support field and site HSE teams in problem resolution and timely reporting of performance and incidents.
• Ensure environmental targets are met and push for ongoing improvements.
• Provide trend analyses to the Global HSE Director and leadership on environmental metrics.
• Coordinate external audits for ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 with certifying bodies.
• Develop and deliver focused HSE&R training across sites and field operations.
• Understand HSE&R issues and empower site leaders to mitigate risks.
• Operate in a matrix environment with regular interface to leadership and inter/intra company contacts.
• Keep stakeholders informed of significant site activities and events.
