Job summary

NREP is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of safety and environmental programs across manufacturing operations. This leadership role ensures compliance with regulations while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

As EHS lead, you will champion workplace safety initiatives, oversee regulatory compliance, manage hazardous materials policies, and drive training, incident investigations, and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS field, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or engineering/science.
• Experience in the chemical, gas or oil industry.
• Experience in managing both safety and environmental fields, with emphasis on environmental.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements programs and policies for monitoring, controlling, and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards at the facility.
• Evaluates health and safety performance records and internal audits to recommend corrective actions.
• Develops or provides input to hazardous material communications and MSDS policies.
• Implements control measures for exposure to hazardous materials or conditions.
• Supervises outside environmental contractors.
• Maintains OSHA compliance and provides guidance on protective clothing usage.
• Monitors EPA and OSHA standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and facilitates training for workers on environmental, health and safety.

Education
