Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead company-wide safety programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role emphasizes building a culture of safety, incident prevention, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in safety and health, 10+ years of related experience, and CSP or equivalent EH&S certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in safety and health or related discipline.
• Ten years of directly related experience in occupational health and safety compliance.
• Working knowledge of Federal/State regulations and laws regarding Safety & Health Compliance.
• Experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Worker’s Compensation.
• CSP Certification preferred; professional EH&S certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
• Develop and implement accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
• Provide leadership, guidance and technical support to operations.
• Coordinate safety trainings, inspections, and monthly safety meetings.
