Job summary

NREP is seeking an experienced EHS Manager in California to lead day-to-day hazardous materials management, regulatory compliance, and safety initiatives across site operations. You will partner with Operations and Facilities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient workplaces.

You will own CA environmental programs, lead audits, manage incident investigations, and deliver required EHS training while promoting a strong safety culture across sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of workplace safety and health programs.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site environmental compliance programs (air, water, waste, hazardous materials).
• Ensure compliance with California agencies (DTSC, CARB, RWQCB, CUPA).
• Manage hazardous waste generator requirements.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Provide hands-on EHS support to floor operations.
• Partner with Facilities on life-safety and infrastructure.
• Deliver required EHS training and promote safety culture.
