Job summary

Mack Molding Company seeks a qualified Environmental Health and Safety professional to maintain, develop and implement regulatory, health and safety programs across our Vermont sites. You will collaborate with management to ensure EHS compliance, employee engagement and continuous improvement to prevent workplace injuries, while guiding safety investigations, training, audits, and regulatory reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of manufacturing safety leadership, knowledge of OSHA, ISO

Qualifications

5–7 years safety management in manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
HAZWOPER, RCRA, and DOT knowledge required
Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office/Excel

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies in compliance with regulations and Mack policies.
Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and regulatory permits.
Lead safety investigations and coordinate corrective actions with management and HR.
Drive continuous improvement and employee engagement through safety committees and training.
Ensure contractor safety compliance and site safety audits/inspections.
Collaborate with program managers to implement site safety programs and reporting of Vermont Workplace-related incidents.
