Job summary

H&S Manufacturing Co., Inc is seeking a Safety Director to lead the organization’s environmental, health, and safety programs. You will drive policy development, training, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting to ensure a safe and compliant workplace across all facilities.

The role emphasizes proactive risk reduction, collaboration with management, and continuous improvement of safety processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership within manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with environmental compliance programs, permits, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience conducting employee training and safety committee leadership.
• Strong understanding of incident investigation processes and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
• Partner with management to promote safety culture and drive annual safety goals.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate workplace injuries and health concerns.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; prepare regulatory reports and audits.
• Review and update policies to reflect regulatory changes and operational needs.
• Provide training across facilities and collaborate with departments to reduce risks.
