Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an EHS Manager at our manufacturing site to lead environmental, health, safety, and facilities operations. You will drive compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Danfoss standards while fostering a strong safety culture.

You will partner with site leadership to develop EHS strategies, manage ISO certifications, and implement continuous improvements across the site. This role requires collaboration with employees, regulators, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or related functions in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance programs, risk assessments, and safety initiatives.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with policies, regs, and business objectives.
• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS goals, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives for zero-incident safety culture.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate hazards.
• Maintain regulatory reporting and recordkeeping per OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Manage EHS Management Systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits and improvements.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and maintain training matrices.
• Collaborate with site leadership, vendors, customers, and regulators to drive EHS engagement.
• Oversee facility maintenance, security programs, and critical EHS controls.
• Support crisis management and respond to environmental, health, safety, or facility events.
