Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Title VI regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and drive cultural change.
• Experience with hazardous waste management and emergency response planning.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Assist in developing and delivering EHS training programs to employees.
• Support investigations into any EHS incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate EHS logs and prepare necessary reports.
• Oversee hazardous materials storage, labeling, and disposal.
• Assist in developing and managing emergency response plans.
• Coordinate safety equipment purchase, maintenance, and inspection.
• Promote a culture of safety through behavior-based safety programs.
• Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing floor.
• Assist in writing and managing EHS policies and procedures.
