Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across our fulfillment centers. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on floor work, conducting walk-throughs, leading investigations, delivering training, and ensuring audits are ready.

You will own safety metrics, drive root-cause actions, manage incidents, and partner with Operations to keep associates safe across all shifts.

Qualifications

3+ years of safety or EHS experience in production, warehousing, or e-fulfillment settings.
Formal or extensive regulatory experience with onsite support and 300 logs.
Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
Hands-on experience conducting JHAs, safety audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.

Responsibilities

Own ORIR and LTI metrics, analyze data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Document and investigate every OSHA recordable, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
Support onboarding safety training completion above 95% across all shifts and departments.
Conduct monthly safety audits and close open items with improving results.
Maintain current emergency plans, evacuation procedures, and first-aid resources across all shifts.
Actively manage workers’ compensation claims and implement modified duty programs.
