Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across our fulfillment center. This floor-level role conducts walk-throughs, leads incident investigations, delivers training, and ensures audits and programs are audit-ready.

Expect ownership of OSHA recordables, onboarding safety training, and monthly safety audits. The position requires authentic hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor and independent program execution across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environment.
• Hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Formal or extensive regulatory experience and exposure; able to manage 300 logs, complaints, and onsite support.

Responsibilities

• Own key ORIR & LTI metrics and drive corrective actions with Operations support.
• Investigate OSHA recordables and close corrective actions on time.
• Ensure new hire and PIT safety training completion is above 95% across all shifts.
• Conduct monthly safety audits and track open items to closure.
• Maintain current emergency plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid resources.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and support modified duty programs.
