Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across our fulfillment center. You will own strategic oversight and day-to-day execution of safety programs, conducting floor-level walks, leading investigations, delivering training, and ensuring compliance is lived, not just documented.

You will manage OSHA records, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses, while aiming to reduce LTI and ORIR rates, and ensuring training completion and audit readiness across all

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety or EHS experience in production, warehouse, or distribution.
• Experience leading incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Hands-on experience with JHAs and safety audits.
• Ability to work across multi-shift operations, including nights or weekends.
• Proven ability to implement integrated safety programs independently.
• Comfortable on the warehouse floor for a significant portion of each shift.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of ORIR & LTI rates, data-driven, and drive corrective actions.
• Document OSHA records, investigate, and close corrective actions on time.
• Ensure new hire and PIT safety training completion at or above 95%.
• Conduct monthly safety audits and close open items.
• Maintain current emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and modify duty programs.
