Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead safety and environmental programs at the New Prague site. You will implement policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements across the facility.

You will conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments, and develop training to elevate safety culture. This role requires strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO, and DOT regulations, with a focus on reducing incidents and ensuring regulatory reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required or demonstrated growth in scope.
• Solid working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO and related bodies.
• Proven track record improving safety and environmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop and oversee general safety/environmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, ISO and local regulations.
• Gather and report regulatory information for reporting programs.
• Manage site safety/health programs to Chart standards.
• Conduct on-site audits, inspections, and risk analyses.
• Lead incident investigations for near misses and OSHA recordables.
• Provide safety orientation and training programs.
• Develop and improve training materials to raise safety awareness.
• Analyze safety data to reduce accidents and improve safety records.
