Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager with daily HSE activities on the production floor. You will inspect equipment, manage hazardous waste, and drive safety improvements.

You will collaborate with Area Managers and employees, conduct audits, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires strong communication, CPR/First Aid certification, and MS Office proficiency.

Formación

• Experience in emergency response and/or safety role in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong communication and group presentation skills.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) is required.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple activities.
• Maintain confidentiality in security/personnel matters.
• Environmental experience or willingness to learn.
• Member of a Safety Committee.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Train and assist others to complete safety responsibilities.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections for hazards and compliance.
• Collaborate with production to create a safe work environment and seek improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in policies, training, equipment, and environmental control.
• Evaluate PPE effectiveness and usage.
• Assist with incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Investigate Near Misses and report findings to Manager.
• Survey campus for risks and coordinate mitigation with local staff.
• Coordinate emergency safety drills and monitor safety performance.
• Provide safety orientation and ongoing training for staff.
