Chart, Inc. in New Prague, MN, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager in day-to-day HSE activities, inspect equipment and facilities, and manage hazardous waste disposition.

You will monitor OSHA and state regulations, train staff, perform safety audits, and collaborate with production to foster a safer work environment and continuous improvement. Applicants should have manufacturing safety experience, strong communication, First Aid/CPR/AED

Qualifikationen

• Experience in emergency response or in a formal safety role in manufacturing is required.
• Strong communication and group presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

Aufgaben

• Monitor the company’s safety standards in accordance with OSHA and State Regulations.
• Train and assist others (Area Managers, Coordinators, and employees) to complete their Safety responsibilities.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Work closely with production workers/supervisory personnel to evaluate production activities and create a safe work environment.
• Assist with incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Investigate near misses with employees to determine root causes.
