Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead our site EHS strategy, align programs with regulatory standards, and promote a proactive safety culture.

The role partners with operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance to integrate EHS into continuous improvement and capital projects, coaching leaders and employees to achieve safety goals and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in EHS within manufacturing, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, JHAs, and safety audits; familiar with LOTO, machine guarding, and forklifts.
• CSP/ASP/CSD certifications preferred; CSP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS strategy and programs to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Develop emergency plans, coordinate drills, and ensure preparedness for incidents.
• Coach leaders and employees to foster a proactive safety culture across operations.
• Audit compliance with local, state, and federal requirements; manage inspections and reporting.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, driving corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance on improvement initiatives.
