Job summary

Crane Company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead all environmental, health, and safety programs at the Los Angeles facility. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, a proactive safety culture, and continuous improvement with site leadership support.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, strong Cal/OSHA/OSHA knowledge, and professional certifications preferred. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field required.
• 5+ years progressive EHS experience, with 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs and audits.
• Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA, OSHA, EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute site EHS strategy aligned with Crane standards.
• Lead proactive safety culture through engagement and training.
• Advise site leadership on EHS risks and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Cal OSHA, OSHA, EPA and local regs.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and investigations.
• Maintain permits, reporting, records and documentation.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement changes.
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA.
• Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs.
• Coordinate emergency drills and crisis response.
• Establish EHS metrics and lead audits including ISO 14001/45001.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and recommend improvements.
