Amgen is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead the site’s environmental compliance and sustainability programs in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role supports R&D and product development teams as needed.

The successful candidate will interpret regulations, develop plans, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement in environmental and safety performance, with a focus on data-driven reporting and training.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field plus relevant experience.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or programs in EHS.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for sustainability.
• Ability to interface with regulatory agencies and manage inspections.
