Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead the EHS program across multiple sites in Houston, TX. The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring incident-free field operations in the MEI network.

You will enforce MEI EHS policies, support OSHA-required training, and manage risk assessments, investigations, and safety system programs to protect personnel and facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in construction or Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience at a multi-site organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Proactively enforces MEI EHS policies and programs.
• Coordinates training required by MEI, customers, and OSHA.
• Provides design-in-safety, risk assessments, JHA development and incident investigations.
• Leads incident reviews with IRB and site management; manages OSHA reporting.
• Oversees SIPPS, permits, SDS, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Conducts routine site audits and prepares safety work instructions.
