Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an EHS Manager to lead all onsite Environmental, Health & Safety programs for large data center construction projects in Abilene, TX. You will conduct daily inspections, drive safety culture, and ensure compliance with OSHA and client requirements across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of EHS leadership in construction, OSHA 30, and strong MS Office skills to manage documentation, reporting, and training initiatives for project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or BCSP certification.
• 8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in construction.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Hands-on experience with inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, and training.
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital reporting systems.

EHS Manager

Position type: Full-time Contract Duration: 6 months Location: Abilene, TX

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for large-scale data center construction projects.
• Conduct daily site inspections, audits, safety observations, and hazard assessments to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific requirements.
• Partner with project leadership, contractors, and subcontractors to foster a strong safety culture.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, training programs, and ongoing safety coaching.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain EHS documentation, including audits, reports, SDS inventories, permits, and safety metrics.
• Supervise and mentor Safety Coordinators, Safety Specialists, and other field safety personnel.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance and address compliance issues proactively.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent incidents and improve site safety.
• Prepare and deliver regular safety reports to project leadership and corporate EHS teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety processes and performance.
• Act as the primary EHS point of contact for project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Support multiple project sites as required and contribute to the growth of the overall safety program.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety?or related field or a BCSP Certification (such as CSP, ASP, CHST or OHST)?.
• 8+ years?of progressive EHS leadership experience in the construction industry?.
• OSHA 30?Certification
• Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Extensive?hands-on?experience with inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, and safety training.
• Proficiency?with Microsoft Office, MS 365, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital reporting systems.
• Ability to travel nationwide as part of a mobile deployment team supporting largescale data center construction.

• OSHA 500/510 Certification

Pay Range & Benefits

• Pay Range*: $47 - $57 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.
