Job summary

Parker Aerospace offers a two-year Environmental Health and Safety Leadership Development Program (LDA) designed to build technical EHS expertise and leadership capabilities. Participants rotate through EHS Specialist and Front Line Leader tracks, gaining exposure to regulatory compliance, energy management, safety investigations, and lean initiatives across locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in an engineering discipline, science discipline, environmental management, or industrial/occupational safety. If an Engineering or Science major, a minor or focus in an environmental, safety or sustainability discipline is preferred but not required.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Excellent communication and teaming skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict
• Professional attitude and demeanor
• Ability to work autonomously and in a group
• Relocation is required
• This role is subject to ITAR and EAR compliance; requires US citizenship, lawful permanent resident status, or refugee/asylum status

Responsibilities

• In addition to leadership development activities, perform direct responsibilities and accountabilities related to the rotational EHS specialist assignment.
• Coordinate all EHS reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support and manage corrective actions from Corporate EHS audits and actions (OSHA/ EPA)
• Attend biannual EHS Conferences or country council meetings as applicable
• Assist with training of new facility EHS Coordinators and support integration of EHS into Lean, HR, and Supply Chain efforts
• Front Line Leader Track duties include production planning, scheduling, PFEP implementation, and adherence to 5S standards
• Supervise material handling functions and ensure on-time delivery and optimal workflow
• Drive lean principles and safety policy compliance
