Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company is looking for an EHS Specialist to lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety program at the Williams, CA facility. You will partner with operations and HR, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective safety practices across the site.

The role demands strong communication, training, and leadership skills, plus experience with air permits, PPE programs, and incident investigations. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Safety/Environmental Science or related field with 2 years manufacturing exp.
• Experience with Title V Air Permit compliance required.
• Managing Respiratory Protection and Hearing Conservation programs.
• Familiarity with Powered Industrial Truck safety and NFPA 70E electrical safety.
• Multi-tasking, prioritizing workload, and goal setting capability.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to train others.
• Accurate recordkeeping ability and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Outlook and Excel on PC; capacity to learn systems.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site team to implement the EHS program and policies.
• Audit effectiveness of the site EHS program through audits.
• Provide EHS training to all site personnel.
• Maintain safety and environmental records.
• Maintain workers compensation files and investigate incidents.
• Generate internal and external reports as required.
• Execute site inspection program meeting safety and environmental regs.
• Accompany inspectors; respond to inquiries from customers, employees, and agencies.
• Serve as local EHS expert and advise site leadership.
• Perform other duties; may support multiple facilities and nationwide EHS projects.
