Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking an experienced EHS leader to drive safety, health, and environmental excellence across the CTS Fleet and site operations in Romeoville, IL. The role ensures compliance with VPP standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and reduces injury frequency through training and root-cause analysis.

Key responsibilities include leading Safety Team meetings, maintaining DOT and logging compliance, and developing proactive safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in EHS in manufacturing or distribution settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FMCSA and DOT regulations and VPP programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead Safety Team and Driver Safety Meetings.
• Maintain logging regulations, verifications and DOT compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory reporting and recordkeeping for OSHA/EPA/DOT.
• Coordinate safety, health and environmental programs site-wide.
