Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to contribute to site EHS programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role emphasizes reducing injuries, managing incidents, and leading safety training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Associate's degree or 2 years of EHS experience required.
• Formal training in continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean, etc.).
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution facilities preferred.
• Experience managing industrial safety standards including respirator and lifting safety.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate programs to reduce frequency and severity of injuries, illnesses, and property losses.
• Integrate risk/loss controls into daily operations.
• Support employee-led safety committees.
• Maintain incident management systems and safety documentation, including change procedures and hazard tracking.
• Record and analyze incident data and recommend corrective actions.
• Support compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead all site EHS training.
• Foster a positive safety culture with a strong shop-floor presence.
