Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Garland, TX seeks an EHS professional to support and maintain environmental health and safety programs at the site. You will coordinate with compliance programs to protect personnel and assets, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities include developing and initiating site-wide programs, reducing injuries, maintaining incident systems, coordinating training, and fostering a proactive safety culture through strong shop-floor presence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Associate degree or higher or two (2) years of EHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate programs with site management to reduce injuries, illnesses, and losses.
• Integrate risk controls into daily operations.
• Support employee-led safety committees.
• Maintain incident management systems and documentation, including change procedures and hazard tracking.
• Analyze incident records and recommend corrective actions.
• Support compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead all site EHS training.
• Foster a positive safety culture with strong shop-floor presence.
