Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an EHS Specialist to contribute to and oversee the health, safety, environment and energy programs within a manufacturing setting in North Carolina. The role focuses on implementing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading initiatives to reduce risk and enhance employee wellbeing.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in health and safety, knowledge of OSHA standards, and experience in an industrial environment, with a willingness to work onsite at the plant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of health and safety experience.
• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.
• Experience with OSHA standards required.
• 1+ years of environmental experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to, implement, and monitor the company’s health, safety, environmental and energy function to minimize hazards to the environment and risk to employee health and safety.
• Develop and direct related programs, policies and procedures, ensuring alignment between environment, health, safety, and energy functions.
• Assist with regulatory and compliance monitoring and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
• Support internal communication and training to promote safe working methods and adherence to regulations.
