Qualifications

• 5+ years of health and safety experience.
• Experience with OSHA standards required.
• 1+ years of environmental experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formation of functional strategy through specialist insight.
• Follow HSE policies to identify and mitigate environmental and safety risks.
• Monitor compliance and provide basic guidance on regulatory requirements.
• Support internal communications and clarify policies and procedures.
• Assist with gathering business requirements and communicating them clearly.
• Collaborate to understand regulation and registration needs.
• Explain action plans and motivate team members to meet goals.
• Track budgets and report variances to senior colleagues.
• Support performance management and drive team improvement.
• Coach team members to develop capabilities.
• Analyze data trends to aid decision-making and reporting.
• Plan, organize, and oversee activities to achieve objectives.
• Interpret and apply policies to align with strategies and objectives.
• Manage safe systems of work and apply health and safety practices.
• Interpret laws and policies relevant to area of expertise.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, providing guidance as needed.
