Job summary

Clayton Homes in Conway, AR is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support ISO and safety initiatives at the facility. You will assist in implementing environmental procedures, coordinating EMS training, audits, and regulatory reporting while promoting a proactive EHS culture.

The role requires a strong foundation in environmental regulations, safety training, and the ability to work with diverse teams to drive continuous improvement. This is a full-time on-site position in Conway, AR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A.S. degree in health & safety or environmental is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 for general/construction industry is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 is a plus.
• Self-motivated and self-starting.
• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal oversight or guidance.
• Analytical Thinker and problem solver.
• Desire to learn and improve new and existing skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations is a plus.
• Good people/communication skills and the ability to follow-up and hold people accountable.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aide certification is a plus.
• Experience in work comp claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer basic first aid to Team Members as needed.
• Transport and accompany injured Team Members to medical facilities when needed.
• Participate in the incident investigation process with the EHS Manager and line supervisors.
• Perform Hazard Walks of the facility, identify hazards and non-conformances, and follow-up on corrective actions until closed.
• Enforce EHS policies and educate team members on SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Promote a positive EHS culture and take part in promoting EHS initiatives.
• Participate in third party audits/inspections with the EHS Manager.
• Assist the EHS Manager as needed with data entry and EHS analytics.
• Actively participate in the Facility Safety Committee meetings.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation for new hires as needed.
• Help create, schedule, and execute annual EHS training.
