Job summary

Clayton is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead plant safety and environmental programs on location in Alabama. You will drive compliance, coordinate audits, and manage training across teams, reporting to the General Manager.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in a related field and 4+ years of EHS experience, with strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA standards, and proven leadership and communication skills within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or related field.
• 4+ years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations; safety-focused mindset.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Lead ISO and safety initiatives, training, and compliance.
• Managing incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety meetings, audits, and reporting.
• Support Return-to-Work and workers’ compensation processes.
