Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs across manufacturing and prototyping operations. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards while supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS and experience in an operational aerospace or manufacturing setting. Travel up to 10% and a shift commitment may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years total work in EHS.
• 2+ years work in operational aerospace, manufacturing, or chemical industry.
• Experience with Life Safety Code (NFPA 101) preferred.
• ASP/CSP/CIH/CHMM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements EHS programs for hazard evaluation and control.
• Provides EHS consultations, planning and reporting of assessments.
• Supports incidents including spills, injuries, hazardous operations, launches and emergencies.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations at all facilities.
• Develops and delivers EHS training and risk assessments.
• Performs periodic audits of Safety Programs.
