Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EHS professional to provide subject matter expertise to engineering and production across HQ and satellite locations. You will implement and manage EHS programs, ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards, and support safety across manufacturing and prototyping activities.

The role requires strong technical writing, incident investigation skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in pursuit of safer, repeatable spaceflight.

Formación

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety.
• Knowledge and ability to use industrial hygiene tools and monitors.
• Expertise in writing technical reports.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and State regulations.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management methods.
• Knowledge of incident reporting and root-cause/corrective-action processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in adverse conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Implements EHS programs for evaluation and control of hazards (industrial hygiene; fall protection; confined space; lockout/tagout; process safety; hazard assessments; hearing conservation; heat stress; environmental management).
• Provides EHS consultation, planning, management, and reporting of assessments.
• Offers SME input in design and test reviews.
• Supports incidents, spills, injuries, hazardous operations, launches, hurricanes, and emergencies.
• Ensures compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations at HQ and satellite facilities.
• Prepares and submits reports to regulatory agencies as required.
• Updates and enforces Blue Origin processes and procedures.
• Indoctrinates new employees on EHS programs.
• Assists in waste disposal activities and recycling materials.
• Contributes to injury/illness and near-miss reporting and EHS training.
